Lots of Power
This is my second drill. Love the 36 volt power. My friends have never seen a 36 volt drill...I can drive screws that their drill can't handle.

The Envy of Any Worksite!
I have never loved a tool this much! So glad I bought it. The 36V fat-pack batteries charge super fast, the tool retains full, amazing speed and power till the battery is fully drained, and once recharged, the batteries hold their charge for a really long time when not in use. Six months later? Full power. So nice! The only caveat is that it's a bruiser. Smaller-framed users might want to select a lighter-weight option.

    Lasts like I used to!
I have now owned this drill for 5 years. It is used almost daily for drilling through steel, wood, concrete, granite, glass, my list can keep on going almost as long as the drill has been. I did have it rebuilt about 2 years ago for about half the cost of a new one. It has been used as a hammer drill for hours on end, one day, drilling over 60 holes in 5,000 psi concrete each one 3/4" x 10" deep. It did all that with about 3-1/2 batteries! Its been dropped from ladders and stairs and still performs like a pro linebacker! It's not the lightest tool in the box but its worth every ounce.

My first Bosch Tool and I love it.
This was my Bosch trial run tool. I was trying to decide on a power tool manufacture to go with when it came to my standard handheld and bench-top power tools and this drill was the deciding factor . I am very particular when it come to my tooling purchases. I was extremely impressed with the power this drill has and how it is an adequate corded drill alternative. If there was any area of concern it would be in the mounting and securing methodology of the motor and drivetrain. My reason is upon inspection of the unit's construction I discovered the drivetrain assembly is held in its orientation to the case by the form of the injection molded casing. Instead of that being the only medium of security they should secure the motor and drivetrain by using either the already used case screws to act as alignment pins and/or used a similar configuration to the HDH181-01 were the gear box is in a fixed position to the case. This will prevent cases from splitting due to the motor and gear box from rotating within the casing as has been an issue some times with past cordless drills (Non-Bosch).

        powerful beast that lasts forever
I bought this powerdrill to frame studs in the basement. It takes no power on my part to drill a 1 inch hole through 2x4's. Anchoring on the concrete floor takes time but still gets the job done. The 36V battery lasts forever.

I have owned this hammer drill for over two years now and love it!
I have owned this hammer drill for over two years and LOVE it! The 36V lithium ion batteries give it the torque to handle everything I've thrown at it, and it lasts forever. The batteries charge in about an hour to full charge, and last four to six hours on a charge in drill mode - a little less in hammer mode. I'm running the Fat Pack batteries. I'd recommend this cordless to anyone - it's a great hammer drill!

            Heavy Duty!
Very powerful. Batteries last an amazingly long time (fat pack). The only weakness is the chuck, which tends to loosen up during extended use on hammer setting. My company has three of these in use, for about 2 years with no problems. We really work them hard, too. It IS a heavy drill to carry around all day, but I don't think anything else compares.
