Product was easy to use. Porch looks great. I used to repair a damaged section of screen that ws done by staples and thin pieces of wood.

Using the screen tight system requires both patience and physical ability. That being said, this is a great way of screening things such as a sun porch.

This system is not as easy as the Home Depot vid makes it look. Doing install of the screens, you are sometimes in put awkward positions. More than one person is needed. The spline can be very difficult to put in place. Your sometimes working right next to a completed area then your screen roller slips (due to difficulty to install) damaging the completed area. I have installed appx 300 sq ft of this product. I was committed to the process and had made full purchase so I had to complete the job. The entire process of trying to work “in place” is dumb. I am a design/mfg engineer. I should have known better that to try this. I could have easily designed and installed built frame assy’s with screened installed, then mounted the assy’s to the porch frame. Best advice is to stay from the Screen Tight system

This stuff is so easy to screen with. Just screw on the strips, have someone hold the screen taught while you roll in the spline. I've done some massive screens this summer and they're excellent. The Screen Tight products are inexpensive and top notch.

After a three year search for a solution for the patio we enclosed, we discovered the Screen Tight system. It was easy to install, affordable, and it exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend the Screen Tight system!

Product works well. One person can install screen. Screen gets very tight.

Great product easy to install. My only wish is that it had end caps for the end corners but other than that is really nice cool system that just about any one can install.

I used 58 sets of track and cap with no problems. People that complain about the product need to hire someone to do it for them. Just say'n.

I screened in a 24' x 10' part of my deck with this system. It was easy if you follow the instructions. All the panels are tight and looks great. Some of the reviews state that putting the caps on did not work or was hard. As long as you start at one end, I started at the top and worked down and make sure the cap is in the two tracks, you will have no problems. A great product for DIY.

Screen Tight System is such an awesome product for the homeowner to install. Home Depot has the products and the associates to not only introduce you to the correct material, but will provide unconditional help throughout the project. We wanted to purchase our entire Breezeway Upgrade from Home Depot and let me tell you, Kathy and I could not be more happy with the results! This system is really as easy to use at it says, and our resulting porch looks very good and functions well. This is good for a DIY project. Pushing in the screen with the spline takes quite a bit of hand strength, and working high up on a ladder (if necessary for your project) can be a challenge, though. Hints on additional tools for this job: --Lath screws work well for attaching the base to wood framework--flat enough not to interfere with the trim and wide enough for good contact on either side of the pre-drilled holes. --To make the project go faster, it would be helpful to have 2 drills--one with a screwdriver bit and another with a drill bit to add a few holes for screws at the ends of cut strips. --A small, flat pry bar is handy to start pulling up sections of the trim. --A good quality anvil pruner cuts the base and trim well. Just be sure to straighten any little crushed sections of spline channel or the pieces of the trim that lock it to the base after cutting. --A pair of diagonal cutting pliers is good for cutting the spline and trimming it close after placement. --A spline roller with a blade on the back end would probably be more danger to the screen than it would be worth in convenience. Standard scissors work for fiberglass screen, anyway. Note on white cap: we used Behr Premium outdoor paint in Polar Bear White on adjacent wood, and it matches well.

I have plans to utilize this product to screen in a patio area for my home. But what crossed my mind at some point was if it's such an easy system, why not use it to rid my home of the blistering 100 degree plus temperatures I experience in the summer months. I then framed my windows with the rails, added Pfeifer fibergalss 90% sunscreen product to my kitchen and laundry room. The relief from the direct sun now is totally amazing. I've already talk to my neighbors on both sides of me and they are amazed at how simple and easy this product really is.

It’s a great product. Unfortunately when we got home one piece was missing. So we didn’t have enough to finish the project

Worked as designed. Make sure to preclean the old track, and tap in place with a rubber mallet.

Pretty easy to attach and use. The porch is still in progress so no finished pictures.
