I have a cabin in the mountains. Straight shot 35 miles to TV transmitters (I can see the towers with binoculars). Cabin has a steel roof, and reception wasn't very good w/indoor antenna. I thought the problem might be the roof. Mounted this antenna on a pole, about 5 ft. above roof. Reception no better than with indoor antenna. Guess I can't complain too much for $20.00

Pros: Easy Installation

Performance is what you will get, much more than you would expect for $19.00. 23 channels on the coast from LA county recieving San Diego. The ideal installation is knowing where the transmitters are pointing the antenna in that direction before a signal scan. The slightest movement of the antenna with the drive will eliminate pixelation or lose it all together. Happy camper here, better than the $110.00+ amplified antenna which only recieved 8 stations. Definately bang for the buck. Very fast delivery for instore pickup.

This antenna is better then one I paid $100.00 for. The plastic parts are thicker and this antenna has metal mounting clamps so it will stay on the pole and not break off and blow away like the more expensive antenna did.

Pros: Easy to Use, Clear Instructions, Easy Installation, this antenna has a 75 mile range and maybe more

  • Works well for us

We recently retired our old style RCA and "upgraded" to a flatscreen. Our reception was never a problem with the old rabbit ears until our upgrade. We tried several inside antenna and none were any better the old one. The last inside Flat Antenna we tried was $90.00. I saw this one for $20 and gave it a try. We are very happy it works well for us and my wife loves having it outside, not in her living room. We are 20 miles from Nashville and I am sure that helps. It appears a bit flimsy but I think I could sturdy it up if needed. Time will tell. Best part...$20 !!!! Give it a try.Cannot comment on the rotor because we don't need it and have not even tried it. It does have to be plugged in and on to get full reception.

Instruction sheet was excellent in content concerning assembly procedures. However, there was no provision made within the instructions for operational parameters such as limits of rotation, use of remote, and installation of remote's batteries.
