This little sander does a nice job, light weight and easy to use. The bag does a pretty good job of collecting duct. I use this mainly to prep surfaces to paint. Seems like a good deal for the money.

  • Worked great till it melted.

Bought this last summer used to make 4 deck chairs. After the 4th chair, the paper would not stay on. Seems the heat from the vibration melted the hooks and the thing that holds it on is no longer available as a replacement part. So now its buy a new one time. Did like it, would try a different brand next time.

Surprisingly powerful for such a small sander. I used it to do all the detail sanding while refinishing a dresser. Great at getting into small corners. I have used it for several hours at a time and have never had a problem. Pads are easy to change and don't move once you put them on. The best sander in it's price range.

I bought this to work on finishes, but it turns out this can even be used comfortably to shape wood. The pads are easy to change.

  • Sponge Base Falls Apart
  • September 19, 2013

I bought this detail sander today to sand a garage door which is stained and varnished. After only 2 - 60 grit sand papers, the front on the sanding base was worn down and peeling back. I went to Home Depot to purchase another sponge base and they don't carry any replacement parts...only the sandpaper. This is a good sander but not for corners!!!

Pros: Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight Cons: Not Durable, no replacement parts available at home depot

This product works wonderfully. It is light and powerful. My 11 year old daughter was even able to use it and helped with sanding some old furniture over a weekend. It is great for corners and the velcro sticks well and never comes off until you take it off. I would buy this over the rounded version.

I have been very pleased with this sander. It is easier to use than my orbital sander and the dust bag collects a fair amount of debris. It did a good job of sanding my remodeled bathroom walls. Good product. I would recommend it.

This thing is great. I've used it pretty hard on some projects and it's still going strong. I burn through a lot of the sandpaper so make sure and purchase some extras.

I've only used this sander once, but it worked very well. I used it to sand and refinish a wall cabinet for a bathroom. It was the perfect size, and the shape worked well for getting into corners without having to stop and sand by hand. It came with a few different grits of sandpaper, which was nice to get me started. For some reason, the sandpaper has a scored line 3/4 of the way down, which made removing it from the sander without ripping it in half a little tricky. There's probably a reason for this, but it seemed pointless to me. The only thing I didn't like was that when you sand a vertical surface, or upside down, the dust doesn't seem to get sucked into the bag as well. It almost seemed like it was spilling out. It wasn't a big deal since I was outside, but just something to note if you need to keep the dust down. Overall, a great tool, especially for beginners.

Pros: Durable, Powerful, Easy to Use, Accurate, Good Size & Weight, Light Weight
