A:  The shutters are built with a PVC material. Unfortunately, they are temporarily discontinued but some models may still be available until the stock is depleted.

A:  No shutters don’t lock. You will need latches or magnates. 

A:  The shutters include a hook and knob set. They are shipped with the hardware and instructions on how to install them.

A:  These are standard, or stock size shutters, they are not customizable.

A:  Shutter Dogs are brackets used on exterior shutters. Your interior shutters should stay open on their own if your window is level and plumb however this is not always the case If your shutters want to swing closed sometimes this can be corrected by a carpenters trick of simply placing a thin shim, like a thin piece of cardboard behind the bottom hinge or the bottom of the hanging strip. You don't want to make it a thick shim because it will make it crooked where the two shutters meet. Give that a try to compensate for a window that may not be "perfect"
