Q:The top appears to be 21 inches deep and the bottom 17 inches deep. That appears to indicate that it can only be installed in a four inch wall. We have six inch walls here. Thoughts?

A: It is designed to sit at the face of 4? walls. workarounds depend a lot on where this is installed. You could possibly cut out the lower portion on the inside wall so the bottom would recess into the wall slightly and then trim around it
