While Rust-Oleum Zinsser WaterTite Mold and Mildew-Proof Waterproofing Paint can be used on bare concrete to create a mold and mildew-proof finish, it will not eliminate existing mold on the surface. If this is applied to the surface first, it will not allow Rust-Oleum Zinsser Mold Killing Primer to reach the mold on the surface and eliminate that. The Mold Killing Primer must be applied to non-porous surfaces to ensure that the primer can have direct contact with the mold, and we cannot guarantee that it will reach the mold deeper on porous surfaces.
