A: Happy to help, Dan! While Rust-Oleum Zinsser Cover Stain Oil-Based Primer Spray can be used to spot prime, we do recommend priming the whole surface after spot priming to prevent flashing. This primer can be topcoated with oil or water-based paints.

Answer This Question
A: Rust-Oleum ZInsser Cover Stain Oil-Based Primer Spray is suitable for use on previously finished surfaces provided the finish is in good, sound condition and paintable. If unsure of the finish type, we recommend applying in a test area first.

A: Hmm. If your local store doesn’t carry Zinsser Cover Stain Spray, you can order it online or have it shipped to your local store at no extra cost!

A: You just have to buy 6 cans VS a single 6 pack is all, otherwise stocking shelf would consume too much space.
