A: For the price and ease of assembly, I can't fault this unit. It looks lovely (as you can see in the video). It absolutely MUST be anchored to the wall (the video demonstrates why). I used the little strap provided & screwed it into the wallboard (no drilling). The video also shows the added riser (an extra $8) which was incredibly easy to install once I realized the unit was not tall enough to fit over the commode). Take the time to measure the height of your commode and if necessary merely pre-order the riser.

A: I just installed this in my bathroom and I would say that its a must to attach this to the wall. I had no intention of doing so myself until I put it together. It is made of extremely flimsy particle board and just opening the cabinet door could topple the whole thing down on your head. Good luck.

Q:how deep is this item, and what is the length from bottom shelf to floor? I need 33 inches to fit around my toilet.

A: 33-1/2" so you should order the extenders as I did. You could probably get away with the 1/2" with the unit resting on the toilet lid, but why chance it when the extenders are so great.

A: Hi Almeda,
The clearance is 30.8 inches. For taller toilets like yours there are 3 inch risers available through the manufacturer for a small fee. This would then make the clearance 33.8 which should work for you. If you would like to order or have further questions, please call 800-892-3986.
