A: Come with. Note that the instructions say you can snap the track, but I mangled the track when I tried (midas touch). The track cuts with a jigsaw. I recommend cutting a custom length because if your track is too short, then the molding won't hug the floor as well -- it' may lift by a noticeable amount.

A: Depends on whether or not you'll use a riser. If so, then the piece will have to jut out a smudge further to accommodate the riser, which will tuck under the bullnose. I didn't use a riser so I cut the flooring about 1 3/4" from the edge of the subfloor. The metal track will occupy the back 1/2" and you'll have about 1 1/4" bare floor in front of the track since the front of this piece sits right on the subfloor. Since I installed my laminate at an angle, I simply red lined my cut-mark and uninstalled the laminate to cut it with a jig-saw, but my backup plan was to use an oscillator (slow and loud, but it'd get it done).
