A:  Update: I stopped by and this set does NOT include the latch. I have submitted a request for the online description to be updated.

A:  Product overview says a latch is included. This is for a drive gate, which utilizes two sets of hinges and a latch to form a gate with two 1-5/8" panels between two 2-3/8" posts. I'm certain the customer reviewer was mistaken the product or assuming it was a regular latch; a drive gate's latch is different than a regular latch. Drive gate latch latches around a 1-5/8" panel, while a regular latch latches around a 2-3/8" post. So the latch forks are narrower than the standard latch.

A:  It is not included.

A:  There is no gate latch with this package.

A:  I have seen this in the store and it includes the latch. The picture shows 4 hinge sets, but a typical gate only requires 2 hinge sets plus a latch, so I am sure the picture is goofed, up

A:  The female hinge parts are for 1-3/8" gate frames.

A:  this fits both sizes

A:  The post hinge is 2- 3/8" x5/8, the female frame hinge is 1- 3/8 x 5/8. Just reading from the package. It has 4 of each.

A:  Yes, the hardware set include both the male and female pieces.
