Q:I would like to attach this at the bottom of my shed doors. Any recommendations for best way to fasten the material to either the bottom of the doors (so it would swing with the door) or to the concrete base so it would stay in place as I come and go?

Q:Can this be placed in opening that may be exposed to elements (rain, snow, heat)? Will it expand, rust, etc? Recently had heavy rain and looks like product expanded and protruded out of area it was securely tucked into.

Answer This Question
A: This can be used in exterior areas. The material is made from poly fibers and coarse stainless steel wool. The poly fibers do not absorb water and the stainless steel won't rust.

Answer This Question
A: We do not recommend the fill fabric for this application. There are products on the market specifically for sealing ridge vents against larger animals like raccoons. If you have a wildlife control company you use they can probably recommend the best solution for your situation.

Answer This Question
A: Depends on the size of the space. The material can be cut into thinner strips and shoved into tight spaces. I would recommend working in small strips and packing it in, in multiple layers. I would also do that from the outside and inside.
