      Q:Can I switch this lamp shade for another lamp shade? I read that I can switch it out for a globe ... but don't find anything about an actual shade replacement. I'm not sure how it connects to the cord so I'm not sure if that's an option.

            A:  The cord doesn't have an option for an adjustable rod as the cord needs to wrap around the spindle to allow for the versatility of 12- 48" length.

              A:  Not readily. The lamp comes fully assembled with both ends of the electric cord fully fastened into the respective ends. You'd have to cut the wire to get a chain over it.

                  A:  I think you could but I'm not sure it would hang straight. I ordered a couple different options then returned the ones I didn't use. Perhaps you could do the same?
