A: If it replacing a single switch I’m sure it could be. You will be reading the info on the screen side ways though.
A: Not unless your switch is horizontal
A: No, assuming that you have a switch installed in a standard configuration.
A: This product is not meant to be hung horizontally and may not attach to frame as well sideways.
A: I see no reason why it cannot be mounted horizontally if the switch is also mounted that way. The biggest issue I see is the display will now be mounted to where you will have to tilt your head to read I’d.
A: If the orientation of the switch is such that it turns on and off from side to side (ie: left to right) then yes you can. If it’s up and down then no you cannot.
A: You can get the instructions at this web address: https://usermanual.wiki/Document/Woods59744Instructionmanual.862573081/html I couldn't upload the PDF file to this forum, so please surf to that URL and you will find the PDF file download button near the top left of the page. I hope that helps.
A: Mine came with 3 instructional sheets in different languages. The English programming instructions were not on the sheet where I thought they would be. Look on all the sheets.
A: I’m sorry but the answer is too complicated and lengthy to repeat in this message. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer and request a new set of instructions.
A: Once you get the on time set to what you want press set and it should change to off for you to set. There is a great video on you tube that shows how to install and set the unit. I think the YouTube downloader is EdwardinTx. Good luck.
A: Joe, for the off setting you have to press the program button and the + button followed by the set button. You have to do it relatively quickly. When you do that in the order described it should flash. Then you press the + or - to set the hour then set again to set the minutes.
A: Difficult to set times
A: Not sure I understand your question. The timer works on vertical switches for sure. If you have horizontal switches on a separate location I would think it would work there. If you have a location where you have vertical and horizontal switches in the same location, it would not work.
A: Please contact your local store for availability.
A: Yes. It took about 5 minutes to install.
A: I’ve never experienced that problem. Are you sure the unit has a set time to cycle off? The initial setting after pressing the PROG button, is used to set the “on” cycle. Once that’s established, press “set” again, all time indicators should be blank and you should see “off” in the panel. Then go through the hour and minutes setting. Should work.
A: Check out the YouTube video. Could be batteries, but probably programming.
A: Reset it with a pen..put it in whole with the R over it
A: First thing I would check is it set for am or pm ? Make sure your regular time is correct also am or pm. If this is all correct I would contact the company they may have an answer that will work.
A: first,....check your batteries. Are they good? you should change them at least every 6 months. if you "tap" the +button , that manually turns the lights on&off at your discretion. Check that too NOW. YOU may have mistakenly pressed the +button manually and overidden the AUTO functions by mistake. Otherwise,... press&hold SET for 3-5 seconds until the HOUR flashes, press + or - button until you see the correct hour , AM or PM. Press SET again, do the same for minutes. Make sure you're setting for AM if it's Am or PM if it's PM time of day. press PROG, you'll see the "ON TIME" in the screen. If this isn't the ON TIME you want, press SET and change the ON TIME as you did before for setting time of day. next press +button, and do the same procedure for the OFF TIME. when you're done , press PROG again and that should do it. You should see the word "AUTO" in the lower left corner of the display.
A: Change batteries and reprogram.
A: Not sure just what a rocker switch is. I think the answer is no, but I could be wrong. The device requires you a switch that can be moved up and down, I would guess a rocker switch doesn’t do that.
A: Yes it will, comes with hardware for both rocker switch and standard switch, pretty cool
A: I don't know. I have never used the switch. It was too complicated to install and couldn't be easily bypassed.
A: Yes, it comes with two backplates, one for toggle switches and one for decorative switches.
A: Yes. That is the reason I purchased this unit. It comes with two types of backs for the two types of switch it can be used for. I have three rocker switches next to each other. This unit is thin enough that I can control the middle switch and leave the other two exposed for manual use. I just ordered three more yesterday.
A: Yes,...there are two (2) types of plates in the kit . one for toggle , one for rocker.
A: This flip switch works by flipping the switch ..... I looked up rocker switch because I wasn’t sure what it was,I would say probably NOT but I’m not expert. The switch that moves up and down has to be long enough to be caught to do so.....
A: No. I don't think so.
A: Yes. I am using on rocker switches.
A: Yes - the unit comes with a plate for both the standard switch and the rocker switch. Excellent product.
