Questions and Answers for WoodRx 2 Gal. Ultra Natural Transparent Wood Stain and Sealer with Pump Sprayer/Fan Tip

A:  The sprayer is disposable, and is a one use item.

A:  Wipe off when spray is wet. Once spray dries it is very difficult to remove.

A:  Don't apply at temperatures below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees.

A:  This mean that it can assist wood resistance to low temperature damage.

A:  Wood RX web site. Could not find anywhere on line a picture of new con heart redwood treated with product to get a better idea on how it would look. Came out much heavier applying on deck than on sample board. Marketed as natural color

A:  We only received 2 boxes of stain. There is one box missing in our order.

A:  This is a natural transparent stain, the spots will show through, use a solid color stain to cover the spots. Mike

A:  Bleach is not the right product for grease, it kills mold but doesn’t do much for grease. To break up the grease you need a product for grease. We used Krudkutter deck cleaner. There are other products and homemade recipes using dawn dish soap to remove/fade grease. Use this only after you get most grease up. You may need a sealer with darker stain to hide or blend the grease stains if you can’t get them out. Otherwise, this is a good sealer and easy to use.

A:  so far it has been indefinitely.

A:  2 sections of a privacy fence, front and back. The stain works great, but the bug sprayer wastes material pretty bad. The concept is nice, it just doesn’t execute well. The best thing to do is buy a 5 gallon bucket of the stain, and then apply it with an airless sprayer if you have one available to you. It took me 3, 5 gallon buckets to cover 175 feet of privacy fence, both sides. Hope this helps!

A:  It covers 600 sq. ft.

A:  I used the sprayer and 1 gal of stain covered approximately three quarters of my deck my deck is . 28x30 hop this is helpful.

A:  I would say no. Even thee older version of RX is not compatible with the newer version
