    Answer This Question

A:  The wood stain is offered in a natural wood honey tone.

    by|May 20, 2019

A:  I used the Natural and my fence looks lovely. It has been on for two years. It is a shade of honey.

      by|May 20, 2019

A:  i purchased the Natural when Home Depot has it in stock. It gives the wood a slight color which just makes the fence wood look new for a long time. The website currently doesnt offer it and I am waiting and hoping more becomes available. I love it.

A:  I wasn't looking for a "color" I was looking for a "Stain color", therefore I wouldn't know, just search, or go into your local Lowes Home Improvement store. My deck still looks good, and a guy at my job liked mine, so he sprayed his also, and he says his still looks good too. I hope you find what you're looking for. This is the Best Stain I've ever found. Oh, and after I sprayed it on, I lightly rolled it to evenly spread it out, as per the directions.

Q:HOW MANY FEET DOES 2 GAL. COVER ON A 4 FOOT FENCE

            Answer This Question

A:  It likely shows the square footage in the item description. However I had a 6foot fence approximately 90 feet and I bought 3-4 of these to do front and back. I was putting on a nice coverage though. It is awesome stuff.

A:  This product has a coverage area of 600 square feet.

A:  I used Ultra Wood Rx in 2 gallon spray pump plastic bottles on three large docks made or 2 by 6' PT pine. I can't remember the total dimensions exactly to answer your question but I had used Wood Rx (not Ultra) in the past. I would recommend using the spray Ultra. It covered a larger area per gallon, application was much easier and faster and seemed to waste less sealer. The regular WoodRx requires pre-weting the wood then applying the product. The ultra is applied to dry wood and is supposed to last much longer. I am now two years after the application and rain still beads on the dock, not so for the non-Ultra. I purchased ten 2-gallon sprayers which covered two 4 x 170 foot docks with 12 x 32 foot end platforms, a third dock 16 x 20 foot and an 180 foot 18" cap on a bulkhead. I have one and one-half bottles left over. The company provides approximate coverage data which I used and still had extra. Also the pump sprayers can be reused. Tom

Q:This says soap and water cleans it up. It does not. I have this all over the siding on my house now after the wind got ahold of the spray. Does anyone know how to get this off of siding?

A:  For the problem, i used a scouring pad up to days later on a kiddie slide and it worked fine. Soap and water only works if you do it immediately. The easier alternative is to spray paint over the affected area but that depends on if it is a viable option for the surface. If your siding is white vinyl, spray paint is an option. If it is a different color vinyl (or even white), scouring pad is necessary. Any other siding material, you might have to try hard to find the right paint. good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

A:  I got it on my siding too. I used straight ammonia, which was stinky and a pain, but it did get off alot of the over spray.

A:  I would contact the manufacturer for the BEST information. I didn't have a problem. I have a brick house, and I don't know if there was any overspray or not. It's been a little over a year, on my deck, and it still looks good. Good Luck!

A:  Yes. You need a pressure washer, and some Zep house wash. Put the Zep on the stained areas and let soak for about 5 - 10 minutes. Then, pressure off. You may need to repeat. Same thing happened to me. The stain is just doing it's job. If it sticks to the siding that well, just think how well it's sticking and soaking into the wood.

A:  This can go on fresh wood. This was formulated for Florida rain and humidity so should not need anything more than an occasional hosing off and perhaps removing any sap or droppings.

A:  I would definitely do a power wash (light pressure wash) to remove any surface contaminants before applying.

A:  I would spray deck cleaner first, power wash, let it dry and then spray wood Rx.

                                        by|May 5, 2023

A:  I would. If any dirt or loose stain is on the surface, the new stain will not take. Also left over stain already on the deck will give you inconsistent color.

A:  No. It just needs to be clean. Power washing the dEck, would make sure its clean, so its a good idea.

A:  I do not think you would if it is clean, washed with hose and completely dried. This would insure all salt air and debris is off.

A:  You could certainly call the company but I would have to say nay. Not sure if the ingredients are safe for indoors. You would have to be very careful not to get it on other things also. But I love the product, I had my fence done in half hour and it was about 80 feet or so. I used more than one although it goes pretty far. Love it, I did it a year ago and my fence still looks same as new.

A:  this did great on my privacy fence, but i would be concerned about a big mess inside like overspray on ceilings, floors, trim, etc. and perhaps possible streaks and runs. Personally, i would go with rollers inside for less mess and coverage uniformity.

We have black metal hardware on our fence gates and where the stain was applied and not wiped off, it's still very noticeable. It has not caused any damage, but you do see the stain. If you don't want to take the time to cover up the poles ahead of time, it is fairly easy to wipe this product off while it's still wet, but I would recommend that you have a helper do this right behind you since it does dry fairly quickly.
