A: Hi Kate, I contacted the WhiteHall company and asked how this product was installed in concrete.
WhiteHall stated you sink the post in a hole, there are no anchors used on this.
WhiteHall also stated that each product comes with specific instructions and that the mail box in suppose to be installed in concrete.

A: You need to contact your local post office for required placement and height at the street. Generally, mailboxes are installed at a height of 41-45" from the road surface to the inside floor of the mailbox and are set back 6-8in from front face of the curb or read edge to the mailbox door. Dig a hole down at the mark so tat the top of the post is the same as the height required.
