Q:Would it be possible to drill a hole through this or is it a rigid high density plastic? I am setting up a cheap security camera system and need to be able to drill a small hole and run a wire into the globe

A: I suppose it could if you ordered a large quantity. I got mine off the shelf and it was the only one there. Because of the globe not fitting into the lampI would only buy one at first to see it it will fit.
