A:  Thank you for your question. This glass shade can be used in a chandeliers that uses a 2 1/4" size fitter shade with a neck. If you are uncertain if this glass shade will work in your chandelier, then we recommend contacting the manufacturer of the chandelier for assistance.

            Q:Are these a heavy glass? I have a 5 armed lamp that was flexible but had plastic shades which did not do well it even low watt bulbs and got brittle. I tired a hammered glass but it pulls the arms down. Disappointed can’t get replacement from the seller:(M

            A:  This is hand blown glass and the fitter is 2.25 inches, the shade diameter is 3.75 inches, and the shade height is 6.75 inches.

                A:  Pretty heavy. Goosenecks can probably handle the weight. However, the glass is fairly thick. I had to file the inner metal flashing on many of the screw holes to get them to fit properly.

                  Q:These look great, will a regular bulb fit in these whether I used them in the bathroom or ceiling fan. My entire house is LED'ed, regular A19 Bulbs, only worry is size inside the globe, LEDs wont heat up enough to impact it.. Gary

                  A:  Yes. I'm using 60 watt bright white LED's. I think 40 watt bulbs would also be acceptable. The smaller sized bulbs (physically) should recess inside the shades very well. However you will need small hands or a tool to mount them.

                      A:  A regular A19 bulb will fit. The inside diameter of this glass is 3 3/4 inches.

                        A:  These are fairly heavy glass. They may work with goosenecks if you don't flex them to much.

                            A:  Hello, you would have to check with the manufacture of the lamp to see if the glass fitter will fit a 2 1/4" fitter which ours are.
