Questions and Answers for Westinghouse Oasis 48 in. Indoor/Outdoor Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan

A:  This fan requires a 3/4 inch diameter down rod by length needed. It comes with a 3/4" by 4 inch in length down rod. You can use any manufacturers down rod as long as it is 3/4" diameter. The longest down rod that can be used with this fan is 48" down rod.

A:  We do not have a 12" down rod in the oil rubbed bronze finish, we have it in oil brushed bronze finish. This is also a bronze finish but it is not the exact bronze finish as the Oasis fan. The item number for the oil brushed bronze down rod is 7725800.

A:  Nope no remote

A:  No, this does not come with a remote control. It is an indoor/outdoor fan and is remote control adaptable.

A:  This ceiling fan is adaptable for use with use a ceiling fan and light wall control. We can recommend our 7787300. If using the fan indoors you can also use a ceiling fan and light remote control and we can recommend our 778700.

A:  This model is rated for wet locations.

A:  My fans have been up and installed for 3 months. Pull chains are all rusted. They should have been made with stainless steel or something that wouldn’t rust outside if it’s truly an outdoor light fixture.

A:  This ceiling fan can be hung either Indoor/Outdoor locations and is suitable outdoor wet locations.

A:  This gorgeous fan is rated for indoor outdoor use, and i am sure for wet weather if your in Florida. Hope this helps.

A:  This can be used in a room up to 144" square feet or up to a 12' by 12' room.

A:  You cannot use a variable wall control. if you are using the Oasis ceiling fan, we recommend that you use the Westinghouse ceiling fan and Dual slide ceiling fan/light wall control, item # 7787300.

A:  If this fan is being used outdoors you need a remote control that is damp/wet location rated. If it is being used indoors, we recommend Westinghouse 7787000.

A:  I believe so. But this would have to be orderd special order from the lighting department. You will have to go into a store to do this.

A:  Yes, this fan can be installed as a hugger style fan. It is a combo mount fan, that you can install either using the down rod or without and you flush mount it to the ceiling.

A:  I believe this gorgeous ceiling fan from Home Depot can be flush mount to the ceiling if this is what you prefer. This is a gorgeous fan. I love it.
