A: No you cannot use a dimmer switch with this ceiling fan. Also, you are not able to use a ceiling fan and light wall control with this ceiling fan because it is a hugger style ceiling fan and you do not have room for the remote receiver.

A: Yes, the light kit needs to be installed on this ceiling fan. This does not come with a switch housing cap.
