Q:I have a slanted ceiling. does the fan motor hand evenly if the ceiling is slanted?

Answer This Question

A:  I think it should work. It's on a ball swivel mount. It does tend to jiggle some while operating at high speed. Depends how large the slant is, of course.

A:  The Alloy ceiling fan can be installed on up to 13 degree ceiling slope with the included parts. If your slope angle is larger than 13 degrees than you will need to separately purchase a ceiling fan cathedral canopy kit.

A:  works great, got 3 of them an a breeze to install and perfect for summer and winter

      by|Mar 10, 2020

A:  You can use one the Westinghouse 7787000 ceiling fan and light remote control to operate 2 fans as long as they are within 40 feet of one another. You do need to separately purchase 2 remote control kits as each fan will need its own receiver and the receiver is not sold separately. Both of the receivers in each fan and the handheld remote control dip switches will need to be set to the same setting (frequency) in order to operate both fans properly. If you are not certain on how to install this properly, we recommend contacting a qualified electrician in you area for assistance.

A:  As long as they both have the same frequency.

            Answer This Question

A:  This fan is remote control adaptable and if you separately purchase a remote control kit, you will need to install/wire a receiver up in the canopy of the fan and then use the handheld remote control. You no longer can use the pull chains and can shorten them if desired.

            by|Dec 6, 2019

A:  Yes you can, just cut out the pull chain.

                A:  yes

                by|Mar 10, 2020

A:  Yes, Alloy ceiling fan is reversible. There is a reverse switch located on the motor housing of the fan and you will need to manually move this switch from one side to the other to change the direction of the fan. Please make sure the fan is turned off before changing the direction of the fan.

A:  It makes a little hum. Nothing that keeps us awake! We like this fan a lot. It is good for a smaller room. Doesn't blow you away!

A:  It's extremely quiet. This fan is our master bedroom directly above our bed, and it's on "medium" every night.

A:  There can be different aspects that can come into play with noise for a fan, the type of ceiling where installed, the area installed and if all parts are assembled properly and tight.

A:  I have this fan in three bedrooms and it is quiet. Nice smaller size fan that blows enough air around to keep cool. The light is a bit dim but I changed the light bulbs to be brighter. Overall good value fan.
