Questions and Answers for Westinghouse Turbo Swirl CFL 30 in. Indoor Gun Metal Ceiling Fan

A:  I replaced the old one white fan in my kitchen and installed my self. It is perfect for small area.

A:  When this fan is flush mounted it is approximately 369 CFM (high).

A:  The height from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the light kit is 16.50 inches and this is including the down rod. If you do not use the included down rod and flush mount this fan, it would be 13.50 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the light kit.

A:  The highest wattage light bulb that can be used is a 13 watt light bulb. You can use an LED instead of a CFL but the maximum wattage is 13 watts.

A:  Quick answer..... NO !! If you are going to use an incandescent bulb, then absolutely No! Higher wattage incandescent bulbs put out extreme heat and end up ruining the wiring inside. If you use an LED bulb, then that would be alright, thus, they do not generate the heat the incandescents do.

A:  I use a daylight LED in mine. Its really bright in a 10x13 room.

A:  No, a brighter bulb cannot be used.

A:  Dont buy it it is a headache

A:  There is no cover plate.

A:  This item does not use LED bulbs.

A:  Yes, this can be installed on a slanted ceiling with up to an 18 degree slope angle. If you have a larger slope angle, you will need to use a cathedral ceiling fan canopy kit.

A:  No, the ceiling fan cannot be installed on an angled ceiling.

A:  If the remote is a universal remote then it should be able to work with the Turbo Swirl ceiling fan.
