Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. We do not test our fixtures with dusk to dawn light bulbs. You should contact the manufacturer of the bulb to see what type of glass shade and fixture their dusk to dawn bulb product can be used with.

A: If you mean, how does one remove the glass globe, simply hold the globe in one hand, perhaps put a small drop of oil on the screw, and then unscrew the screw with the other hand. If the screw breaks (which it likely won't), it's a standard size that would be easy to replace at a hardware store.

A: I am not sure what you mean by the pen?? If you are trying to remove the glass, it is held in by two thumbscrews. If it is the bulb that you are talking about, this should just unscrew from the socket.

A: As far as I know it should be fine, just be sure to use a A19 size bulb with it. The Ecosmart 75 w or 100 w warm white LED would be a good choice for that location, for more light go with the daylight version of the same bulb.

A: YES --keep it away from excess moisture-- the metal rusts with exposure. ..especially where the screws hold the glass globe-- use a touch of petroleum jelly to resist moisture and slow rust.

A: This can also be used indoors. This is not rated for a wet location but is rated for a damp location so it may work for your application.

A: I did--- flat white spray paint on the brass metal before mounting . protect the plastic inner socket from overspray with a paper towel or tissue. paint worked well-- did not peel off metal which i cleaned with alcohol to remove any oil from metal before painting.
