Q:Is the lantern part glass? Is it durable? Does the lantern part remove or is it stationary? Does the lantern part swing back and forth ?

A: The lantern part is real glass and well-made, and I think it is very durable. The lantern part come installed. It can be removed, but you need to tool to unscrew some. However, you can install a medium base light bulb from the bottom without the need to remove the lantern part. It is stationary, not swing back and forth.

A: Hello, yes it is glass. The lantern does not swing back and forth. It is stationary.
