      A:  A dummy door lock does not require the knob to be turned. The lock is surface mounted to the door and no latch is provided, nor required.

          A:  The Weslock dummy function comes with hardware for one side of the door, which includes the knob/lever, rosette and mounting plate. If you need hardware for both sides of the door, you would then need to order two dummy functions. The Weslock dummy function does not include a door latch as the latch is not needed.
