A: Werner Co. does not offer a written or implied warranty on its products. We do stand behind the quality and workmanship of our models. Issues of this nature would usually become evident within the first 6 to 12 months of ownership. Please give us a call with any potential warranty questions you may have. Thank you for your inquiry. Q:I have a 7’ 8” ceiling and use a ladder to climb into the attic. One as close to the ceiling when open as possible obviously helps this process.

Answer This Question
A: On the model # 7408 the approximate height when open is 96 inches. However, when using a step ladder you must maintain 3 points of contact at all times and cannot climb off of it. I would recommend purchasing an attic ladder, do not use a stepladder to get into the attic. Please contact Customer Care at 888-523-3371, so we can help you with your attic ladder selection.
