A:  It appears the bottom is the only difference. The E-210 has a cabinet bottom to hold / hide the propane tank. The bottom part of the II E-210 is more like a cart, where the tank hangs on one side, exposed.

A:  Hey David, the Weber Spirit E-210 has an enclosed frame, below the grill, which holds the propane tank, while the Spirit II has an open lower carriage. I find the enclosed carriage, that hides the tank, most difficult to change said tank. Even though this is my only draw-back for this E-210, Weber makes a great grill. Hope this helps.
