A:  I wouldn't stack them if you are going to put anything like stuffed animals or books in the upper cubes as it will crush the lower cubes.

A:  less than two pounds, the walls are filled with air and the back wall is cardboard. My thumb broke through one side while I lifted it up to paint it.
