Q:I had the 26 gallon tank installed about 12 years ago, but my pressure switch needs replaced now. I cannot find a pressure setting ANYWHERE on the switch. At what pressure does the tank come prefilled to? I bought a 20/40 but I think I need 40/60?

Q:With the tank sitting on the basement floor, what is the distance from the floor up to the CENTERLINE of the metal inlet/outlet elbow? I can not find this information in any of the online literature. I need to replace a Flowtec tank (bladder ruptured but tank still holding air) and want to figure out any re-plumbing I might need to do because of different piping above floor to elbow height before I do the actual work. I want to minimize how long the water will be off while I am swapping out tanks. I can always put a board under the new tank to make it higher to connect to the existing piping, but would need to re-plumb if the new outlet is lower than the existing.

    Answer This Question

A:  I really can't remember and i'm out of town. Your best bet is go to your nearest Home Depot and check out the water tanks and the different length tees that fit the tank so you can get an idea of what you might need or problems you could encounter. Call ahead and make sure they have tanks in stock. Good Luck
