Please check with a local fire inspector or installer/ of fire sprinklers. Fire sprinkles lines have a larger diameter 3.5 or 4 inch gauges.

A: No, you need a gauge that reads in millibars or atmospheric pressure, this unit does not.

A: yes it can be used, it reads in PSI which is used in the states, for most compressors the high would be around the 100-150 range so it will be easy to see where the needle is sitting at the maximum pressure.

Q:I have a 1-1/2 in. PVC pipe and I want connect the pressure gauge with the Pipe maybe using a reducer tee. I wonder what is the connection size the of gauge. Do you have any tee reducer to connect those two? Thank you

A: 2" pvc comes in tees, you would need a tee with the smallest pipe thread they have in stock which would be 2 x2 x1/2 inch pipe thread from there down to 1/4 inch pipe thread reducer which they have in brass. An alternate is a saddle tee but that would most likely cost more.

A: if you can't find a reducing tee or fitting to start you off smaller then: pvc bushing 1.5" spigot x 3/4 slip (or 1" slip) whatever is available, work your way down to a pvc 1/2" FIP bushing then switch to a 1/2x1/4 MIP x FIP brass fitting and your golden.
only way i was able to figure out how to do it nicely on 1" pvc.
if you can find your way down to a smaller pipe size before any of this, IE a reducing tee or elbow, then you will most likely follow the above steps but starting with a smaller diameter.
maybe pvc 3/4 bushing that is spigot x 1/2 FIP over to the brass 1/2" x 1/4" bushing
