    A:  China

A:  Made in China. BUT...I have had it for 5 years without a hitch

    by|Nov 4, 2020

A:  Made in China. Mine stopped working under 30days and couldn't find any contact for 1year warranty anywhere so returned it to home Depot with receipt. Not even sure if any of there light use heaters are made in USA anymore. If you need better quality look for brands with reputation like Lasko.

A:  It was smaller than I anticipated but it still does the job of warming the entire room up.

            Answer This Question

A:  Yes. I used it in a small storage room that serves as a shed & is relatively sealed off from the rest of the house.

            by|Jan 22, 2020

A:  Yes...but you must plug the heater directly into a hard-wired wall plug that is rated at 15 to 20 Amps. Don't use extension cords as most house fires are started this way !

A:  No uv in it. Just heater springs and a fan to blow out the heat.

A:  This model is a ceramic heater and it does not produce UV in the process. Thank you!

                      by|Dec 12, 2018

A:  There is a heating coil that electricity runs through to produce heat. A fan blows the heat into the room. No, it would not produce UV, only IR and an orange glow.

A:  It is a fan forced electric coil heater.

A:  Hello! In order to use an extension cored safely with this heater the extension cord has to be 15000 watts capable. Thank you!

A:  No! A heater is best to be plugged in into the wall. Extension cord can cause fire.

A:  I have used my Warmwave 1500 watt portable electric heater with short heavy duty Air Conditioner / Major Appliance Extension Cords ... about $7.50 for 3 ft. cord or $10.00 for 6 ft...with no problems from the cord getting hot or circuit breakers tripping.
