A: Made in China.
Mine stopped working under 30days and couldn't find any contact for 1year warranty anywhere so returned it to home Depot with receipt.
Not even sure if any of there light use heaters are made in USA anymore. If you need better quality look for brands with reputation like Lasko.

Answer This Question
A: Yes. I used it in a small storage room that serves as a shed & is relatively sealed off from the rest of the house.

A: Yes...but you must plug the heater directly into a hard-wired wall plug that is rated at 15 to 20 Amps. Don't use extension cords as most house fires are started this way !

A: This model is a ceramic heater and it does not produce UV in the process. Thank you!

A: There is a heating coil that electricity runs through to produce heat. A fan blows the heat into the room. No, it would not produce UV, only IR and an orange glow.

A: I have used my Warmwave 1500 watt portable electric heater with short heavy duty Air Conditioner / Major Appliance Extension Cords ... about $7.50 for 3 ft. cord or $10.00 for 6 ft...with no problems from the cord getting hot or circuit breakers tripping.
