A:  No, it has to be the one supplied with the product. It has special holes that allow the paint pass through.

A:  The filling tube is only about a foot long. You can use it easily for the first half of the bucket. When the paint level drops lower, you would need to attach a piece of hose to get to the tube in order to reach the bottom. I have done it often.

A:  Not to my knowledge. The full tube is self-contained to the roller

A:  Yes, but it is easier with a smaller can.   You are sucking the paint up,into the stick.  The more control you have in that step, the less likely the chance of a bad reaction or accident. 

A:  Yes it can

A:  This handle can be used with five gallon bucket. However, once the paint reaches half way it has to be transferred to a smaller vessel to compensate for the short arm of the pump, and to avoid spilling the paint from tipping the bucket.

A:  I did and worked pretty good but I used boiled linseed oil

A:  Probably not practical. Stain is very thin and would run quickly out of the roller, making a mess. Still need to wipe up the excess stain and get it to the edges.

A:  The on/off button does not require holding. Push it once to turn the pump on, push it again to turn the pump off. Call our technical support for more help at 1-800-328-8251.

A:  Can’t use it no roller or gallon paint can cover Peice to take the paint out with never camel like promised is ad

A:  There is no screw or even a hole in the end that would allow that.

A:  You cannot add an extension pole.

A:  22 ounces of paint fits into the Smart Roller paint tube.

A:  I believe it will hold about a quart.

A:  It holds 22 ounces

A:  I believe the manual says that it holds 23 ounces. I normally get 7 fills from a gallon of paint.

A:  When you finished, did you take it apart and wash the entire thing well? That's an absolute. If you plan on using it again with the same color, you need to place it in a TIGHTLY sealed baggie. It'll stay "fresh" for a long time like that. The outside of the box should show how to take it apart OR there should be instructions inside. It's very easy to take the roller off and slide a new one on. Just like using a regular roller. As with any roller, you MUST take good care of it. My son borrowed mine and would not listen to my instructions, saying he could read instructions. WELL, he ruined it by not cleaning it. Plus he used it like a regular extended roller, not one that held the paint. I bought a new one. Needless to say, IF I allow him to use it again, I WILL be there!

A:  uhhh probably not effectively

A:  Elastomeric paint will not go through the roller covers for the Smart Roller tools. It requires a high pressure, contractor style sprayer to apply elastomeric coatings.
