      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question and interest in our W96mdf Paneling. Yes, this product may be used in the bathroom, just as long as water does not stand on it (not recommended for walls directly around the shower area). In rooms with extremely high moisture (e.g., saunas, bathrooms or laundry areas), it is best to apply a vapor barrier, like 4 mil polyethylene, between either the studs or drywall and the MDF paneling. There have been some who suggest painting all sides front, back and edges before installation as well. We hope this helps with your decision to use House of Fara products.

A:  Hello Kate, This could be used in a bathroom away from the shower or where it would have water contact. Note: In rooms with extremely high moisture (e.g. saunas, bathrooms or laundry areas), apply a vapor barrier, ex. 4 mil polyethylene placed between the studs and wainscot/planking.
