              Q:I love the look the curved shelf. However, I need to have the width trimmed down about 5" to fit into an alcove (the cut being on the " end). Can you tell me if the glass is tempered? Two glass cutting services said if it was tempered, it would break into lots of pieces.....something to do with the curve in it, the glass has to be tempered. I like the opaque style. Can you verify whether the glass is tempered or not? Please help - the shelving would be perfect for my space. Thank you!
