A:  This model is sold a few different ways. Model VG6062BNCL36WS is our Shower Enclosure with Low Profile Base. Model VG6062BNCL36W is our Shower Enclosure this a standard base. Model VG6062BNCL36 is just the enclosure with no base option. This model installs into your existing walls.               A:  It is the worst experience we ordered 4 times and we got it broken and always the wrong size 38 inches instead of 36 inches we will never buy anything from them again!!!!!

                A:  We do have a base available to accompany this shower enclosure. Simply add a W or a WS to the end of the model number to add a base (W) or a low profile base (WS). The model number would be VG6062CHCL40W (and add S at end for low profile).

                    A:  The unit is reversible, meaning you can have the hinges on either the left or the right and the door can open either to the left or the right. However, the glass can NOT be cut. This is tempered glass and if it was attempted to be cut, the glass panel would shatter.

                      Q:What are the dimensions (width) of the two sides and the actual door width for this door 34 x 73 and the one that is 40 x 73? So 73 inch is the height of the door not including any base?

                      A:  The 34" measurement is from the back wall to each adjacent corner, where the side panel meets the door panel. The side panels are going to be 15 1/2" and 15 1/4". The door panel is going to be 24 5/8". The height of the enclosure when installed, without shower base, is going to be 73".
