      A:  While not designed for this purpose you could. You would need to put the male part of the latch on one gate and the receiving part of the latch on the other. you would also need a drop rod for the center on one of the gates.

          A:  The gate is 5'6" high and what I received was almost 5.5' wide and not 6'H x 4'W as I ordered. I'm not sure if it is the standard size for this kit, but on the box it was stated 4X6.
