Answer This Question
A: You will need some structural support in your post to support the weight of a gate. You can use a wood post or a gate post insert (94 in. model # 73012353; 82 in. model # 73003718; 58 in. model # 73012352)

Answer This Question
A: I contacted the company and got the answer. Using a wrench, hold the large nut. remove the set screw (allen wrench) and remove the top plate (house shaped plate with the set screw in it). You will feel the tension on the wrench (don't let go). Adjust against resistance for more tension or the oppposite for less. Replace the plate and tighten the set screw.

Answer This Question
A: Hi David, The 4 screw holes on front of the gate are ¾” from edge of the gate, 1-5/8” apart 1-3/4” tall. The 3 on the front that attaches to the post are in a triangle configuration, first two are 2-1/8” back from edge, 2” apart height & the third screw is 3” from post edge & 1-3/4” set in the middle of hinge.
