A:  Andy, The latch comes with the gate hardware. The hardware can be purchased separately through the PRO desk at our local Home Depot, please provide them with Model # 216519. If they need any assistance pushing the special order through, they can give us a call at 844-529-5882.

A:  Hello Jose, While we have not tested two gates joined with a hinge, we do know that other Home Depot customers have done this, and apparently with success. We cannot recommend it, again, as we have done not research to verify that there will be no sagging, etc., but you can look at the bottom of the product page for details of others who have done this. This would be the Questions section.

A:  Lesszmore, After checking with our product expect, we don’t think there are any gates that would be an acceptable substitute, as the Lafayette is a unique panel. For that reason, we suggest that you contact your preferred Home Depot location to determine when the gate is expected to be back in stock. Best of luck to you.

A:  No, it is not recommended to cut this.

A:  No, the 2nd horizontal rail is not adjustable. You may be referring to internet number 203454260 and 203454256. The gate and fence panel mentioned are taller, so in pictures, it appears as though the 2nd horizontal rail is lower.

A:  This item comes with a gate latch. Any extra security would need to be purchased separately.

A:  The gate does not include any method for securing it.
