Q:What adhesive would you recommend if attaching this to a brick post column? Secondly is "PVC glue...

A:  We recommend the PVC Cement, which is the same as the PVC glue.

    A:  We did not use an adhesive. Very small screw holes were created and small black screws were installed in the base to keep the lanterns in place on the post. All 4 of the solar lights were installed in this manner and has withstood one of the most stormy snow winters in Philadelphia.
