A: Hello, there are a couple of different plastic pieces that go with this valve. The first is the anti-siphon device, which is the oval piece above the valve. This prevents water from back-flowing into the valve when turned off, further protecting your fresh-water system. The second plastic piece included with each valve is a flange piece to help with the valve's installation. This sits behind the brass faceplate, and will force the valve to be installed at a 2-degree angle, allowing water to drain fully upon shutoff. We hope this helps with your project.

Q:I just installed this today.
My system is copper pipes so I removed the valve and then completed the copper pipe install.
I then reinstalled the valve and turned the water back on.
There is no water flow.
Turned off water and removed the valve and water came out of faucet.
Help!
