Answer This Question
A: Yes, the blind is assembled on the job site, unless you ordered it pre-installed in your skylight. The blinds are very specific to the size of the skylight, therefore, there is no variance.
However, if you have a FCM (fixed skylight), there may be little tolerance, but on the Venting skylights, there is not.
Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: The correct blind is determined by the model as well as the size. I will need the serial number of your skylight (metal tag, inside bottom frame) to determine which model blind is compatible.
Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: The Venting Skylights, such as VCM, VCS, VS, VSE, and VSS come with insect screens already installed in them. The Fixed Skylights, such as FCM, QPF, and FS do not come with insect screens, as there is no need because they don't vent at all.
Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: If your question is simply regarding having a blind installed into an existing skylight, you will have to check with your local store to see if they offer an installation option. There are also installers that are certified by VELUX and listed on our website at www.veluxusa.com.
