    A:  The blind installs on the sash close to the glass. The sash is the moveable part of the skylight. The glass is encased in the sash. Thank you.

      A:  You must install the blind model that is compatible with your skylight. To use the M08 Blind for VS, you must have a VS M08 Skylight. The blind will not retro-fit on any other model or brand skylight. Thank you.

        A:  Yes you can use the screen and operate your skylight. The screen is stationary in the skylight frame. The sash opens outward and does not affect the insect screen at all. If Home Depot does not have this size in stock, they can order it for you. Thank you.

                A:  Hello, and thank you for your question. Installation services are not offered for VELUX skylight blinds, however I believe you will find that they are very DIY-friendly. Please keep in mind that these blinds are designed to be installed specifically in VELUX skylights, because they have pre-installed Pick&Click system brackets. The installation procedure for our solar powered blinds is similar to that of our manual blinds, so you might want to watch the video that is linked to our manual blinds to get an idea of how it works. You can also search online to find other how-to videos that show installation of a VELUX solar powered blind.                   A:  Actually all VSE skylights come standard with a preinstalled blind so it will be a feature within the purchase of your skylight. You have the choice of either a blackout blind or a light filtering blind. You also have color options such as white or beige. Please see your local Home Depot associate for color options.
