      Answer This Question

A:  A 6 volt 1/2 amp up to a 2 amp AGM charger should work well. Make sure the charger can charge AGM batteries. A UPG D1741 would work but being 1/2 amp it would be slow to recharge.

A:  That would work more than likely but this is what pops up as a replacement .https://www.homedepot.com/p/UPG-6-Volt-4-5-Ah-Rechargeable-Sealed-Lead-Acid-SLA-Battery-UB645/203770472 The tab on this version might be better for the toy's current draw.

A:  You can only use a 12 volt charger on 12 volt batteries. That means you can only use a 6 volt charger on this battery. Now saying that those automotive chargers that can switch between 6 and 12 volts will work just fine. A 6 volt 1 amp charger is a little light. I'd recommend a minimum of a 3 amp 6 volt charger.

A:  It's a six volt battery. A six volt charger is required. Do not try to use a 12 volt charger, it is dangerous, the battery will leak and could explode.

A:  It should work. I've installed them again in July 2020. I would recommend checking specs with the Exit Light manufacturer.

A:  The 4.5 Ah rating should not be an issue, however larger Ah batteries tend to be larger in size. You need to measure the exact size of your battery and verify if the selected replacement battery is in fact the same exact size. In most cases, the sizes won't match.

                    by|Jun 6, 2020

A:  Yes, the fact that it's 4.5 AH means it will last a bit longer when there's no power.

                    by|Aug 15, 2020

A:  4.5 amp hours just means the battery will last a little longer than a 4.0 a/h battery. Most important is the voltage. This is a 6 volt battery and if 6 volts is what you need, by all means buy this one. I love it in my grandson's powered atv.
