Q:Can I mix this in with ready to use joint compound to increase elasticity & reduce chance of future cracking?

Answer This Question
A: Cheri,
We have only tested and used with masonry and plaster applications (not drywall joint compound) but in theory it should help with both adhesion and crack resistance. We're just unable to say how much.
We do manufacture Plaster Patch which already includes a powdered bonding agent and is very popular.
