Q:We know it's trendy to assign a stylish name to a color, but for us regular shoppers would you please just give us a simple explanation of the colors available as the pictures online make it hard to distinguish the actual color. For example: grey (medium, light, or dark), brown (medium, light, or dark), Tan (medium, light, or dark).

The Greys & Browns vary in shades from light to dark and the Reds are both a darker shade of reddish-brown. Samples are available to order from our website.       Q:I just re-did my deck in Trex Enhanced Saddle. How close would the Vintage Lantern match the Saddle?

This is not to say that the two would not look well together as a color scheme, but if you are looking for an exact color match I would say that Tree House is the closest.         Q:Is 4" x 4" the actual finished width of the post sleeve? (i.e., wall thickness of roughly 1/4" over the 3.5" x 3.5" wood post) or is it wider than that?

          Q:I'm finding it challenging to search and select all of the parts needed for a railing on my deck. Is there a nice template of items from which you need to choose to make sure you order all of the parts needed. I need 10 post sleeves, 6 sections of railing, a stair railing section, and then connectors for a 45 degree rail to post connection.

                    A:  Our post sleeves are backed by a 25 year warranty against warping. They are a composite material and like our deck boards most scratches will weather out over time. Kindly, Trex Customer Care Team

                      A:  They do scratch it just did a deck with this material and finding it was easy to scratch I am looking right now to see if they sell vintage Lantern touch up paint
