    A:  The wall thickness is nominally 5/8". The extrusion of the composite material creates an actual dimension range from 1/2" to 5/8".

      Q:Do these posts need to have a 4 x 4 pressure treated post or an aluminum post inside of them for strength?

      A:  The fence posts do not require internal reinforcement except for gate hinge posts and fences taller than 8'. The internal dimension of the post is 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" which allows it to be used interchangeably as a standalone post or sleeve, if desired.

          A:  The post will go 30 into the ground in concrete. The cap will be put in the top and lock in with screws. The end panels will be also screw to the post with three screws each.
