A:  Hi Ed. The riser lights do not have a requirement span placement, as this comes down to an aesthetics preference. Many people will do one between every stair stringer while some like to go every other or between the first set and last set of risers. A:  Hello Michael, and thank you for your interest in Trex lighting! The 4 pack of Trex recessed deck lights will come with 4 - 5.5' wires to connect each recessed deck light to its designated Trex 6-way splitter. However what is not included is the wires needed to connect splitter to splitter, therefore Trex separately offers the lighthub wire packs in 5', 10', and 20' lengths.
