A: It's a few different shades of brown and a grayish green (depends on the light and what is by it). It is predominantly brown. Make sure you get the same lot #. I ordered more at a later date to extend into laundry room and there was a noticeable color difference.

A: Yes actually this is a great tile that is perfect for high traffic. It is heavy duty and I feel it would stand the test of time for constant wheel traffic also.

A: I do not think so - it seems a little fragile and thin to hold the weight of someone rolling across it constantly.

A: This is a much tougher vinyl than the soft pliable sheet vinyl you currently have. So based on that, it's my opinion that it will last much longer, however, I suggest you ask a Home Depot employee or contact the manufacturer for their opinion.

A: Well, I have use Allure for a few years now and I love it! I didn't want thin vinyl, so I searched for a more hardy product. Allure filled the bill. I have used it on the floor, on the wall as wainscoting. It is very water resistant and cleans up well. I have even used it cover a hollow core door. I believe you will love it. One word of caution, make sure the old floor is clean and make sure all nails are counter sunk and sealed over per instructions! Good luck. David S.

A: Thank you for your question-Install proper floor protectors (nylon or felt) on all
furniture legs used on resilient flooring. Protectors
will allow chairs to move easily over the floor without
scuffing or scratching (felt protectors can pick
up small grit and still cause slight abrasions). Clean
protectors on a regular basis to remove any grit
that may have become embedded on the bottom
of the furniture leg. For any swiveled type office
chairs and other rolling furniture, please install
2" wide non-staining flat casters. Do not use
rubber casters.

A: I would suggest getting a chair mat as I do not believe there’s anything will hold up to an office chair on any rollers!

Q:We have some black seams showing. We want to get Custom Building Products Polyblend Non-Sanded Ceramic Tile Caulk to hide these seams. Our tile is TRAFFIC MASTER Allure 12 in. x 24 in. Grey Travertine Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring (24 sq. ft. / case)..What "COLOR" of the Polyblend Non-Sanded Ceramic Tile Caulk would look best with this grey travertine..Don't want to buy tons of tubes, when on SS we have to watch our pennies. As it is, not too crazy about the paint we used to paint the bathroom walls, Silver City is too dark with a tiny window..Looks like a Flinstone bathroom..This flooring does help lighten things up. Really like this floor, but not the tiny seams in some spots. Hoping someone knows what color caulking we should use.
Thank you

A: Thank you for your question. That would honestly be your personal opinion of what would look best. You can take a scrap piece of the flooring or a photo into the Home depot and see if they could help you pick out what would best fit your needs.

A: Use Dap almond caulking, Just spread a little over the crack wipe off and the seam is gone. The almond blends in nicely.

A: I really suggest not putting any caulk in the small seams. In my past experience anything you put in the seams will be more noticeable than what you have.....You will be replacing the caulk after a couple months, after cleaning and scrubbing it will start to pull up.

A: I used what I had laying around the house, which I believe was an almond color silicone caulk. I'm happy with how the color blended with the tiles.

A: I am looking at a leftover piece from a job I did several months ago. To me, it has slightly more brown tones than the green-grey tones, maybe 55%/45%. Also, it has a some cream and gold colors. The best thing for you is to obtain a sample square or go to the store and look at a display. I don't know where you are located but, if close, you are welcome to have one of my leftovers.

A: Thank you for your question. Yes, you CAN install the flooring under your stove and refrigerator because the weight is evenly distributed on 4 legs.

A: I don't see why not. We used our tiles in the bathroom. They are very sturdy and look and feel great.

A: I'm not sure of the weight of applicances on this flooring type, maybe there is a rating for it. When installing the flooring, I was able to cut through it with a utility knife, so it is not very thick. I've really had good luck in my master bath so far though.
