A: If you need to replace the Reel-Easy String Head, you will need part number 309034001 (TRIMMER HEAD ASM). Please contact Toro Customer Support for availability at 1-888-384-9939. If you are just looking to refill the trimmer string, you will need .095 in./2.4 mm diameter monofilament line. To install the new line in the trimmer head view the Installing Line in REEL-EASY™ String Head section in the Operator's Manual online at http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/66/66c98ada-a99d-4615-ac70-ac04b6695888.pdf. Thank you.

A: Thank you for your question.
The Dual Line Replacement Spool Shown in the picture will not work with your model of Toro string trimmer. The .065 line may work but your machine is designed for a much heavier line, usually .080 to .095.
Typically this line will come in a green for the .080 and in an orange or yellow for the .095 line. The .065 line will probably break much faster than the .080 or the .085 line.
The spool in your trimmer is designed to hold the thicker string as well which means you will have difficulty locking the line in as you try to load it into the head of the Toro Trimmer.
With the 17 in reach of your curved shaft unit, using the specified .095 string will work much better than the much thinner .065 line. Save yourself the aggravation and use the factory suggested line.
